EnglishAhead's Business Writing course has been made for working professionals such as first-time managers, team leaders, business executives, and frontline sales professionals.
It is designed to teach you how to write professionally with the correct grammar, form and vocabulary in various workplace scenarios. This includes routine forms of communication like emails and MOMs, as well as more advanced and business-specific forms of writing such as business reports, documentation, proposals and letters. We teach using mock scenarios from a variety of business functions with the help of examples taken from Cambridge English course books and material.
You will be taught in 1-to-1 and group online classes for a period of two to four months, depending on your existing English language proficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Our business writing course is designed to improve your business communication and general English proficiency to IELTS 6.5 (Upper Intermediate/B2). At the end of this course, you will be able to:

Understand the basic concepts of general English writing, such as: the impact of tone and register upon your writing; the importance of audience and context while writing, and the conventions of different forms of writing such as articles and memos.

Write in a variety of business-appropriate forms with accurate grammar and advanced vocabulary. The forms you will be taught include:

Use a wide range of scenario-specific vocabulary suited to each form of writing, that can be adjusted according to the audience and context.

Write content for presentations, such as PowerPoint slides.

Describe visually arranged data (i.e., in the form of pie charts and graphs) in a user-friendly and accurate manner.

Use accurate and advanced grammar that follows the conventions of Standard English while writing, and minimise errors related to the same.

Proofread your writing for errors related to language, logic, tone and structure.
